Simply slide completely apart in two and clean with dishsoap and water, or place in dishwasher, top rack only. (Placing straws in a mesh bag, work well in dishwasher, to keep all separated straw pieces securely together) Allow to completely dry, while separated in half, to prevent invisable interlocking bacteria, before storing.
